These experiences are created for travellers who wish to spend more time with the communities we work alongside, deepen a particular area of learning or explore places that are not part of our group journeys.

Ausangate Expedition
Journey through the Ausangate region alongside Don Vicente, combining multi-day trekking with time spent in his community. Experience the mountains through the Andean worldview while learning about local traditions, ceremonies and the profound relationship between people and the natural world.
Communities of the Andes
Travel through different Andean communities, discovering the remarkable cultural diversity that exists from one valley to another. Learn about traditional dress, local customs, gastronomy, architecture and the unique identity that each community continues to preserve.
Medicinal Plant Immersion
Discover the botanical traditions of the Andes and the Amazon through guided plant walks, hands-on workshops and immersive learning experiences. Learn to identify medicinal plants, extract essential oils and hydrolats, and create natural remedies including botanical balms, herbal ointments and traditional Agua Florida.
